This work presents a dynamic model and simulations for large integration of wind power and its impact on the power system operation. It also presents the Equivalent Wind, an approach to model the wind turbines for constant and variable speed wind turbines. The main characteristics of the turbulence and rotational turbulence are taken into account. Finally the results from the simulation of the entire power system in the frequency regulation iss presented.
