The manufacturing execution and control systems play a significant role in this regard. Holonic Manufacturing Systems (HMS) and Multi Agent based Systems (MAS) are two prominent control techniques under the banner of Distributed Problem Solving (DPS) have emerged as promising approaches for shop-floor control. In the present text, Multi-objective dynamic scheduling, based on Agent based Holonic Manufacturing systems, is presented to satisfy the varying interests of the customer and the manufacturer. The system exhibits high degrees of flexibility and agility and poised to stay unperturbed under disturbances by providing optimum solutions.
