Touch is viewed as a delicate element of this method by means of that the client is able to re-live bodily and psychic dynamics of important episodes of ontogeny from conception to the present so that traumas and deficits suffered are to be resolved. Consequently negative messages originating from traumas, mostly transmitted transgenerationally can be treated by DTH. The hypothesis is illustrated by several case-vignettes. The DTH cannot be viewed as a stand-alone method, it is useful for inducing emotional dynamics of stopped individual or group therapies.
