Produktbeschreibung
This interdisciplinary volume is devoted to research in the field of translation as a global and intercultural discourse and one of the most important interlingual processes in a contemporary globalized world. It focuses on three homogeneous sections: the importance and challenges of artificial intelligence for the scientific discipline of translation, translation didactics and the development of translation skills in the context of interdisciplinarity and technological development, and multi-layered translation, linguistic analysis and transcreation procedures in literary and professional translations. The volume presents a convincing, far-researching, and engaging study of the specifics of translation studies, which is both a profound and pleasurable reading not only for scholars but also for any reader who is interested in the unique art of translation.Prof. Prof. Dr. Tanja Zigon (Universität Ljubljana)
