In the future, e-collaboration will be an indispensable part of the strategic, process-oriented and technological repertoire of a company. This work is aimed at executives, project managers and employees in companies who are concerned with the networking of people and the design of collaborative fields of action within and outside the company. The aim is to give them - an insight into the topic "e-collaboration", - an overview of the central concepts as well as - design basics and conceptual considerations for their own projects. The aim of this thesis is - firstly - to present an application-oriented design framework for "e-collaboration", which will be explained and illustrated by means of practice-oriented case studies. - Secondly, it is shown that the characteristic "collaborative" becomes an important descriptive dimension of successful companies. - third, e-collaboration is presented as a form of collective learning.
