E-learning has gained recognition both within and outside, in the field of library science throughout the world. It introduces not only global and distributed, but also Virtual Learning environment to the library users. In the context of Library and Information Science, e-learning is an increasingly important approach to user education, information literacy and Continuous Professional Development Programmes (CPDPs) etc. This book attempts to throw light on e-learning environment in Library and Information Science. This research purports to examine personal and academic related factors, ICT use and facilities , general awareness of e-learning and attitude towards e-learning among Library Professionals of in Higher Educational Institutions.
