There are other initiatives taken in this direction by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Consortium for Education Commission of the University Grants Commission (UGC), National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). They have developed interactive e-contents and some are also providing e-courses in the VLE. The book depicts about status of e-Learning in universities and aided colleges of U.P. (India).

Autorenporträt
Dr. Vijay Jaiswal was born in 1975 and did his masters degree in Physics and Education from Poorvanchal Univ., Jaunpur and B. H. U., Varanasi respectively. He was awarded Ph. D. degree in Education from C. S. J. M. University, Kanpur (India) in 2007. Presently he is working as Associate Professor in Education in C. C. S. University, Meerut (India)
