E-shaped microstrip structure - with open stub at the midpoint of the microstrip line- is used in designing filter. In this work, the design consists of two filters with two structures . Band-pass filters with dual-band operation are offered and compared with dual-band ones as two groups of various structures or two coupling paths. The sizes of the new filter are greatly minimized. These filters are designed to reduce passband insertion losses and high frequency selectivity.

Omar Talal Hamid was born in Iraq, 1987. He received his master degree in Computer Engineering in 2014 at Cankaya University, Turkey. At present, he is a lecturer at Cihan University- Erbil, Iraq. Shahad Fais Thabet was born in Iraq, 1992. She has finished her master degree in Electronic Engineering in 2017 at the University of Technology, Iraq.
