This is a story, a sort of study, really, that delves into the lives of three junior high school boys and their friends. Together, we take a look into the homes of the three boys and discover how it effects their everyday lives. Eagle Bill is the alter-ego superhero who normally goes by the name of Billy Wilson. Billy has had a secret crush on, Gwen Skyles for a long time. The problem with that is there's a bully by the name of Paul Schmuck who believes that Gwen is his girl. Billy Wilson and his friends are constantly tormented by Paul Schmuck and his friends whether it's at the lunch table, the hallways, or even at their lockers. Until one day a boy, who was a grade older, stepped in. Everything changed at that moment. A silent young man dressed in black, honor roll student, by the name of Theodore Laughing gets involved; standing up to the bully, Paul, even though his home life is hell, living with his abusive, alcoholic father. Paul, on the other hand, has parents who work opposite shifts so he rarely got to see either one for very long. It was a life sentence of frozen pot pies and microwave dinners... Billy, by contrast, has the ideal home life; Two loving, supportive parents... there is a slight snag however... Billy's dad, Greg, is getting impatient with his son being bullied. His father had the solution and it was a harsh one. Would Greg let his son work it out or would he do to Billy what his father did to him? Will Billy ever stand up to Paul? Will Theodore ever survive his father's wrath and still maintain his grades? Will Paul be able to survive on frozen foods? Lastly... will Billy have the courage to ask Gwen to the dance on Friday...
