In the last several decades we have realized the situation of the global climate change. This situation has been predicted to endanger the living around coastal area in the future. Prediction models have shown some coastal cities area would suffer flood by tidal inundation and even permanent flooding. Coincidentally, today around the coastal area of Northern part of Java Island, Indonesia, we can see the early picture of global climate change impact to it. The occurrence of tidal inundation in this area was recognized at least in the early 2000 and even earlier. Some of this areas are obviously 'sinking' to the sea through times. We have done some investigations in this area by field observations (mapping the flooded area, interviewing people and seeing the adaptations, conduct GPS and InSAR measurement to see deformation, etc.), also gathered information from digital media and by using remotely time series of high resolution satellite image data to mapping the tidal inundation in this area, and calculating the size, etc. Our investigation clearly shows early pictures of global climate change impact, and we would like to share our finding through this book.
