The early Slavs were a diverse group of tribal societies in Migration Age Europe whose tribal organizations created the foundations for today s Slavic nations.Although it is not until the sixth century AD that literary sources first mention the name Slavs , yet, by this time, sources reported that Slavs inhabited a vast area of central-eastern Europe, and were to spread even further over the next two centuries.
