Most Latter-day Saints have not interacted with this form of teaching in any significant way. Narrative homiletics is a theory of preaching that suggests sermons should mimic the experience of a story by creating intrigue, using imagery and indirect communication, and building to a climactic ending that invites the listener to ponder.
