Autorenporträt
Philip Reari is a Washington, D.C.-based writer and editor working by day to reduce industrial pollution and enforce environmental laws and by morning and evening to compose fiction and raise children. Previously a climate reporter, his work has been published by Dissent, Grist, Huffington Post, Kyoto Journal, Mother Jones, n+1, Wired, and many others. His first book, Eat Your Damn Vegetables, was shortlisted for the Santa Fe Literary Awards. He enjoys a refreshing walk or bike ride, believes his thumb is somewhat green, and watches too much soccer. His family alternately refer to him as a domestic god and a trash monster.
