Carsten Herrmann-Pillath is Professor and Permanent Fellow at the Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies, University of Erfurt, Germany, and Distinguished Visiting Professor at Bejing Normal University, China. Qian Zhao is Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Erfurt, Germany.
