About Bishop K. C. Pillai (w/pic) Bishop K. C. Pillai was a prelate in the Orthodox Church of India, born into a Hindu family and shunned by them for many years after he converted to Christianity. He attended seminary in England, and returned to India to pastor churches there. When his superiors in the church understood the value of his teaching the Eastern customs in the Western world, they released him to that ministry. He was introduced in the U.S. by Dr. Dwight L. Moody of Chicago. He died in Ohio in 1970. About Jeanie Chilton (w/pic) Jeanie Chilton is a retired journalist, having written for such papers as the Dayton (OH) Daily News, the Sandusky (OH) Register, and the Wheeling (WVa) Intelligencer. The last five years of her working life was spent at Christian Retreat in Bradenton, FL where her 3-act play, "Apostle to the Gentiles" was given during the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles. Her husband, of 40 years, Oliver Strand, died in 1988. The couple has four children, Charlotte Gallapoo, Ted, Dolores Segaard, and Dorothy Flores. A Subsequent husband, Robert Chilton, has also died. She is scheduled to receive the Distinguished Toastmaster designation in the fall of 2007.
