Author Mike Lambert is a historian and collector of the Eastern Shore League, and this is his second book on the ESHL with Arcadia Publishing, having written Eastern Shore League in 2010. Eastern Shore League: Extra Innings has many of the players who played in the league and their stories. Lambert is also a freelance journalist and frequently writes features on the ESHL for local newspapers on the Delmarva Peninsula. Lambert's mission is to continue to promote the history of the ESHL for our future generations to enjoy.
