Autorenporträt
Rose Cocchiara is an Italo Canadian author. She was born in Ribera, Sicily. When she was two years old the family moved to Canada, where they se led in Hamilton, Ontario. Rose remembered having to learn English through children's shows and illustrated children's books. Rose has always had the passion to write and took the experience from her childhood to write her own children's book for Italo Canadian families who wanted to teach their children the basics of the Italian language. Rose's four amazing nieces also inspired her to write this book. Rose's nieces have always been eager to learn a second language so they could be er understand their grandparents, who knew little English. She dedicates Uno, Due, Tre to Anna, Nina, Gianna and Felicia.
