In Charles M. DuPuy's suspenseful mystery Easy Kill, book 1 of the E.Z. Kelly Series, readers will meet a new leading lady willing to kick her opponent's butt, whatever the circumstance. Will dangerous lady E.Z. Kelly succeed in finding the real culprit? E.Z. Kelly is intent on becoming a travel agent, but trouble finds her wherever she goes. It's good that self-defense was a high priority among the lessons taught to her by her Special Forces father. Expecting a boring night shift at the hotel where she works, E.Z. is surprised when night after night the place is targeted by thieves. Taking the thieves down one by one is a simple task for her. Unafraid of the threats, she continues to work at the hotel and cooperates with the Miami Police's investigation to discover the reason why the hotel is being hit. As they dig further into the case, she discovers that terrorists have a plan to detonate nuclear devices in three large U.S. cities simultaneously. Will E.Z. be able to take the terror cell down before she gets herself killed?
Autorenporträt
Charles M. DuPuy was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but grew up on a dairy farm fifty miles east of there. It was a wonderful bucolic life full of experiences great and small. In school, he loved writing stories to entertain his friends, and hung on to the memories through young adulthood. When he was twenty-one, his wealthy aunt planned a trip around the world with her son and daughter, and invited Charles to join them. He accepted with glee. That introduction to the world fueled a desire to travel that he still enjoys. He's seen Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer, drove with a buddy to Alaska on the Alcan Highway one summer. He has been to or through nearly all of the fifty states, and to Mexico and Canada as well. Charles got serious about writing when he penned articles for an outdoors magazine, and the commitment grew when the editor took the position of managing editor at Fly Fishing magazine and offered him the editorship of the outdoors magazine. With his depth of experience, it was natural that he began writing longer prose. Short stories came first, and finally a novel idea was born. Say the Word was his first serious full-length novel. Easy Kill and Saving Melissa are part of his EZ Kelly series. Follow Charles on his website, CharlesMDuPuyAuthor.com or find him on social media.
