Jens Lapidus, geb. 1974, ist Strafverteidiger in Stockholm, wo er für eine der renommiertesten schwedischen Anwaltskanzleien arbeitet. Seit dem Jurastudium hat Jens Lapidus nicht nur eine steile Karriere als Anwalt gemacht, sondern ist auch einer der erfolgreichsten Autoren in Schweden. Sein Debütroman stand mehrere Wochen lang auf Platz 1 der schwedischen Bestsellerliste und wurde in mehr als 24 Länder verkauft. 2007 wurde er zum Best gekleideten Mann des Jahres gewählt.
