Elena is a trained nutritionist who aspires to be an author of cookery and travel books, with the intention of branching out into food writing for magazines and opening a cookery school. In 2011, Elena self-published a book of recipes on Amazon Kindle entitled, It's Not All Borsch, You Know! During the 2020 lockdown, Elena started a YouTube channel named Lena Cooks, You Eat to demonstrate some of her favourite recipes. In response, she was commissioned to present several master classes via Zoom. Elena lives in North Hertfordshire with her husband and daughter.
