Electrocardiography is an effective non-invasive diagnostic technique, which is widely used by cardiologists. Beats extracted from ECG signals can be categorized in a range of classes corresponding to various diseases. The book is focused to detect those abnormalities by automatic processing of heart signal.

Dr. S. Mitra (Sarkar) received her B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D.(Tech) degree from University of Calcutta, India. At present, she is an Assistant Professor in Department of Electronics of Netaji Nagar Day College. Formerly, she attached to the Indian Statistical Institute as a Post Doctoral Fellow and Department of Applied Physics (CU) as a Guest Faculty.
