It might be hard to grasp, but to those who could not understand my obsessive quest, I wished I could ask: If someone you loved were taken and held against their will, would you ever give up looking for them? Would you ever stop trying to get them back, even if you knew they might never be the same again? You know you wouldn't. It might be hard to grasp, but to those who could not understand my obsessive quest, I wished I could ask: If someone you loved were taken and held against their will, would you ever give up looking for them? Would you ever stop trying to get them back, even if you knew they might never be the same again? You know you wouldn't. In this heart-stopping finale to The Echo Saga, Echo is tormented by the mistakes she made that put Connor under Damona's control, a torment made worse when she finds out that Damona has found another, more personal use for Connor. Mired in obsession, Jaxon coils an ever-tightening spiral around Echo, one that forces her to consider what she values most: freedom from Jaxon, or Connor's safety. And now, faced with an impossible choice, Echo will have to mine the depths of her power in an attempt to save Connor-and their destiny-before Jaxon enacts his ultimate revenge.

Autorenporträt
Skye Genaro is the award-winning author of teen paranormal romance books, novelettes and short stories. Echo Across Time, the first book in her series, received a Wishing Shelf bronze award for best teen book in 2015. She has also written several full length screenplays, one of which was optioned for production. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and worked in market research in the technology sector for many years. After leaving the corporate world far behind she began honing her storytelling skills. She has worked in the writing industry for a decade as a booking and marketing agent, a conference coordinator for the Willamette Writers, and is a former Willamette Writers board member. As a volunteer, Skye reported on issues related to adult literacy, both locally and nationally, for Oregon Literacy. Skye loves writing about personal power, especially how girls and women tend to repress it, learn to embrace it, and eventually choose to use it. She writes about teen characters because those years are so important in defining a young woman's individuality and identity. When Skye set out to write the Echo Across Time series she thought it would be fun to take a look at the dynamics of personal power, but through a supernatural lens. In the series, Echo begins as a girl whose paranormal ability brings fear and upheaval into her life. Yet, by learning to embrace her unique gifts, she becomes a leader and a positive example of what is possible when we honor our true selves. One of Skye's favorite things to do is talk to students about writing, and she has spoken and taught at libraries and high schools in the U.S. Now taking advantage of technology, she also does Skype visits with classes and book clubs around the country. Popular topics with teachers and students include the life of an author and the craft of writing. To arrange a Skype visit, contact her at skyegenarobooks@gmail.com. When she's not writing, Skye is seeking out her next adventure. She and her husband can be found buzzing through the streets of Delhi on a tuk-tuk, rock climbing in Thailand, and canoeing whitewater rapids closer to home. She's visited seventeen countries to date, many of them more than once. A fan of libraries and their ongoing efforts to improve literacy, it is her personal goal to give away one of her e-books to every high school and middle library in the country. Skye lives in Portland with her husband. You can find out more about Skye at http://skyegenaro.com, or contact her at skyegenarobooks@gmail.com.
