Alma Brabham Kent lives in the small town of Clinton, Louisiana. After graduating from a small rural community school in St. Helena Parish with a class of nine students, she earned a B.S. degree in English Education from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has retired from teaching high school English language arts after thirty years in the public and private sectors, and now enjoys writing her own stories.
