Autorenporträt
Miss Julie lessons have always been children's favorite. When not in the classroom, she would often gather the neighborhood kids in her backyard, lay munchies for them, and narrate meaningful stories about history. Her passion for teaching and her empathetic attitude made the stories exciting and the lessons were valuable for the kids in attendance. They would happily come and listen to her speak about diverse topics. In light of current events taking place in Haiti, Miss Julie was supposed to talk about that. The children were excited to hear her because that would answer the enormous commotion that was going on in the media.
