Autorenporträt
Emily was raised in West Tennessee in a town so small she seemed to know everyone and they all seemed to know her, too. She spent many Saturdays working on art projects with her sister, mom and Grandmama, who was a gifted seamstress and a creative at heart. They passed the time by using their hands to make treasured creations. She learned patience and that when you have a creative mind, you are never bored. Her childhood interests led her to pursue an art degree with the hopes of making a career of her eclectic range of ideas. Emily graduated from the University of Mississippi after studying Art (Graphic Design/Photography) and English. After college she worked as a graphic artist and photographer for many years. She still lives in that same small town with her husband and three children. She delights in sharing all things creative with them. Picasso said, "The meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away." Emily has enjoyed a successful career in the arts and now hopes to spend more time inspiring a new generation of kids to do the same through art education and creating content for creatives.
