E. M. Schorb is a prize-winning poet, novelist, and short story writer. His Murderer's Day was awarded the Verna Emery Poetry Prize and published by Purdue University Press; his col¬lection, Time and Fevers, was the recipient of the Writer's Digest Inter¬national Self-Pub¬lished Award for Poetry and also an Eric Hoffer Award. Most recently, Words in Passing, was published by The New For¬malist Press. Other works include The Ideo¬logues and Other Retro¬spec¬tive Poems, Aldrich Press, Last Exit to East Hampton, Kelsay Books, Manhattan Spleen, Aldrich Press, 50 Poems, Hill House New York, and The Poor Boy, Dragon's Teeth Press, Living Poets Series. Schorb's novel, Paradise Square, re¬ceived the Grand Prize for Fiction from the International eBook Award Founda¬tion at the Frankfurt Book Fair. A Portable Chaos was the First Prize Winner of the Eric Hoffer Award for Fiction. His most recent novel, Resurgius: A Sixties Sex Comedy was pub¬lished by Rainy Day Reads Pub¬lishing. But Schorb maintains that he is first and foremost a poet, and his poetry has appeared in numerous pub¬lications, here and abroad.
