The present endeavor was undertaken to set up a pioneering trend of monitoring of the behaviour of Common Myna and effect of artificial nest in its behaviour to set up the openings of the future study on this tract at this topic. In this milieu, a detailed study on the Junagadh, one of the biggest one in India desired a detailed monitoring to work out the present status of the behaviour; the roosting ecology and effect of ecological and the other constraints, feeding, the breeding behaviour by evaluating breeding season, nest site selection, nest material preference and use, clutch size and egg characteristics, incubation and hatching, nesting success and mortality, effect of artificial nest on breeding, and morph metric of Common Myna, with special emphasis on growth were investigated. This study may also be useful for future studies on bird behavior and morph metric comparison of the ancestral and descendent population. This study revealed that how save this species.
