They are bio-culturally unique indigenous people who live in harmony with nature in Jawadhi Hills and the adjoing forests.

Dr. A. Santhi obtained her PhD from University of Delhi in Anthropology in 2010. Currently she is pursuing her PDF in Anthropology from UGC. Dr.S.L.Malik is professor and Head of Anthropology at Delhi University. He has been M. Sc.(Gold Medalist),PhD, Former Humboldt Fellow (Germany)and Former Vice-Chancellor, DDU, Gorakhpur University.
