In recent years the study of biodiversity has become an active area of study. The widespread loss of world's biological wealth is one of most serious global crisis today. Conservation of biodiversity in ecological advances in crops and animals productivity has accorded prominence in global economic agenda. Ecological condition of any given area is represented and governed by its prevailing fauna and flora. The present century refers to as "Age of urbanization" because of rapid growth in the urban population. Urbanization is inevitable. India is a part of global trends towards increasing urbanization in which more than half of world's population is living in cities and towns. At the other side of urbanization, if it is unplanned definitely leave various kind of influence on nature. The natural set-up of ecosystem has changed much due to the erratic interference and exploitation of the ecosystem of human beings. The pressure of over population and rapid development has created a great demand on our natural resources. So sustainable development is need of the time.
