An investigation was made on physico-chemical characteristics, primary productivity parameters, nutrient dynamics, plankton diversity and abundance of an urban and peri urban pond, located in Raipur district of Chhattisgarh, India. The study was conducted during April 2013 to March 2014. The samples were analysed at monthly intervals.
