But a few research studies have been carried so far. This study focuses on the global demand for the SAARC tourism. It puts emphasis on the regional integration and empirically tries to show that joint efforts to promote the tourism in the region will have a win-win position to all member countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). SAARC tourism can learn lesson from the ASEAN tourism.
