Autorenporträt
Nicos Sykianakis is a professor of accounting at the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences, Department of Accounting and Finance. He has also taught at the Athens University of Economics and Business and at the Hellenic Open University. His Ph.D thesis explored FDI projects in the Balkans. Currently his academic interests focus on auditing and financial statement analysis. Persefoni Polychronidou is an assistant professor of applied econometrics in accounting and finance at the Technological Educational Institute of Central Macedonia's Department of Accounting and Finance. Her research focuses on statistical and data analysis and she has published numerous papers on empirical economic data. Anastasios Karasavvoglou is a professor of economics and president of the annual international conference "The Economies of the Balkan and Eastern European Countries in the Changing World". He has published numerous books and papers on immigration, regional development and the labour market.
