The objective of this work is to verify the economic and financial feasibility for opening an Angolan restaurant in the municipality of Criciúma, Santa Catarina - Brazil. The methodological procedures adopted were based on descriptive, survey and application of a questionnaire, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The research instrument used was a questionnaire, which in turn was applied in the accounting sciences, administration and economics courses at the UNESC university and applied via google forms, where the return totaled 85 respondents, whose results showed a great acceptance of the proposed business, in which 83.5% of the survey respondents, showed interest in attending the future venture. According to the results of the financial plan, the present study concluded that the opening of the Angolan restaurant in the city of Criciúma / SC, is economically viable in the optimistic and realistic scenarios, and through the financial tools, the total initial investmentwas calculated for opening of the project in the amount of 93,446.33 reais, in which a return on investment of 29 months and a monthly return of 3.4%, in view of the realistic scenario.
