The Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (KIHASA) organised an international symposium on the economic crisis and social integration, which took place in Seoul on May 27-28, 2009. At the symposium took part besides researchers from KIHASA representatives from Ireland, France, England, Germany, Denmark, The Netherlands, the USA, Japan and China. This book assembles most of these contributions. This volume is absolutely up to date as the economic crisis is far from overcome and social reintegration remains one of the foremost challenges in today's world.
