The current economic situation in the world actualises the problem of economic education of the younger generation. The successful adaptation of school graduates to the social and economic conditions of society will depend on the formation of economic culture and readiness for self-realisation in market conditions. Currently, the importance of English as a means of communication between different peoples and cultures is also increasing in society. The development of international economic relations has caused the appearance of many English-language notions and terms in the native language, the competent use of which is the basis of human economic culture. The current state of the problem in pedagogical theory and practice is reviewed in this monograph. The model and pedagogical conditions of economic culture formation for senior pupils are considered from the positions of systemic, personal activity and culturological approaches. The book is intended for English teachers, post-graduate students, scientists, who are dealing with problems of economic education and youth upbringing.
