The book is devoted to current problems of analyzing the path of economic development of Uzbekistan in the conditions of independence from the point of view of achieving its main goal of society - improving the living standards of the population on the basis of systemic market reforms. The book reveals the fact that the successful implementation of the course of reforms in the country is impossible without changes in the public, group, and individual consciousness, without serious positive corrections in the rules of behavior not only of state bodies but also of citizens themselves. It examines in detail both the theoretical foundations and content of stage-by-stage reforms and market transformations and the causes and consequences of macroeconomic decisions. In fact, broad analysis of the progress path along the unexplored roads of development in the new economic conditions makes it possible to better understand the objective need for a new economic recovery after Uzbekistan gained independence.
