This study is an attempt to explore the causes and assess the consequences of HIV/AIDS at household level. It is primarily, focused to the socio-economic conditions of household with people living with HIV and psychological well-being of PLHIV individuals.

Dr. Sharma, is a public health consultant and researcher. He is a PhD in Health Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune, India. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai funded by Population Council through BMGF. He had been a UGC and Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund fellow.
