The book examined risks and management strategies among cowpea producers in Adamawa, Bauchi and Gombe States,North East, Nigeria. This book is essential to understand farmers' risk perceptions, the socioeconomic factors that in uence risk perceptions and likely response to risks towards implementing management strategies among others. Agricultural risk measure is particularly important for cowpea producers, who are usually already vulnerable to poverty and lack the resources to absorb shocks. Furthermore, information on appropriate risk management strategies from the empirical study will help improve productivity per hectare, farm income, thus growth in rural economy and development. This study will provide information regarding risk at cowpea farm level, extend the frontiers of knowledge and is relevant , useful to producers, entrepreneurs, academics and researchers among others.
