In chapter-II, it has been presented the brief profile of the study area i.e. the characteristics of the three selected districts. Chapter-III presents two sections, in section-I, focuses on the theories of decision-making and the role of women in farm as well as household activities and analyses based on five-point assessment scale. Section-II deals with the socio-economic particulars of the selected sample households in the study area. Chapter-IV laid emphasis on the factors influencing the decision-making of women in farm management,for which, Ordered Probit Econometric Model has been used for achieving the main objective of the study. Finally Chapter-V provides summary, conclusionsand policy implications for increasing the active role in farm management.
