Numerous external and internal factors in the last 20 years have contributed to the change in the environment in which family farms operate. Agricultural production in Serbia takes place mainly on small family farms, which are characterized by low capacity, lack of labor and financial resources. The Toplica district includes four municipalities (Prokuplje, Blace, Zitoradja and Kursumlija), has 16,312 farms, of which 99% are focused on agricultural production, understandably with different production lines. The existence of the need for constant review of the achieved results in agricultural production is a consequence, among other things, of its dependence on the progress of other scientific fields. The wide choice of possible technical, technological and organizational solutions, as much as it represents a favorable circumstance, so much contributes to the complexity of the problem faced by the production organizer. In order to gain insight into the results of agricultural production on family farms, a survey was conducted on 60 farms. The research includes data on production capacities, labor force, facilities, mechanization, production structure, production costs and revenues.
