EC is the second most common cancer in men and fifth most common cause of cancer in females in India. The epidemiological studies have clearly established very high incidence of the EC in India particularly from Kashmir region.

I am a Ph D scholar working in the Department of Biochemistry at University of Kashmir, my field of research is epidemiology of GIT cancer in Kashmir Valley. I carried out my present work under joint the supervision of Dr. Bashir Ahmad Ganai and Dr. Showkat Ahmad Kadla both being very good persons besides being responsible guides.
