An overview of the biology and descriptions of the rodents examined is also included. This report provides valuable information for ecological parasitologists, biologists, researchers and students on the ecto and endoparasites of rodents in tropical Malaysia.

Paramasvaran Sithambaram Thevar is a Senior Research Scientist at the Institute for Medical Research,Malaysia.He holds postgraduate degrees in Veterinary Parasitology,Medical Microbiology and Avian Parasitology.He has published more than 50 research papers on animal and human parasites.He is a member of the Malaysian Society of Parasitology(MSPTM)
