Catherine Castoro is the author and illustrator of three children's books under the pen name Catie Cat. Eddie Hest vs. Suburbia is her debut novel. She has worked as a writer, designer, and illustrator/fine artist in advertising and marketing. She has won several awards including: First Page Contest Finalist in writing, and Juror's Choice Award, Distinguished Award, and Best of Show in art and design. She has two grown children and lives with her husband and Lakeland Terrier in Austin, Texas.
