Edgar Cayce has been called "America's Sleeping Prophet." He had reached the height of relative fame in 1910 when his picture appeared in the New York Times as a clairvoyant healer who many doctors, at the time, held in high regard. His clairvoyant readings included prophecy of future events, and reports of past lives impinging on the present. To many in the 21st century, his claims sound wild and even a bit bizarre. Yet we have evidence which seems to support what Cayce discovered. Some of the topics covered in this small book include, * A time when the Sahara may have emptied into the Atlantic instead of the Mediterranean; * A discovery in the Bahamas predicted almost to the date, of a possible link to Atlantis; * A date Cayce gave for Noah's Flood which has been verified in biblical research, and in science with the extinction of a competing species-the so-called "daughters of men;" * A date Cayce gave for one of the earliest events of humanity, not long after the arrival of Adam, verified by the same biblical research, placing Adam's arrival at a time compatible with 19th century dates later discarded by scientists for no valid reason; * And evidence of Plato's Atlantis, also supporting many of Cayce's readings on the fabled, lost island empire. While none of this is rigorous, scientific proof, all of this holds open the door to the vivid possibility that Cayce was a spiritually gifted man who cared enough to share his God-given talents to help others.
