Ananda Rao Kuriti est chercheur post-doctoral au département de sociologie de l'université d'Andhra, à Visakhapatnam. Auparavant, il a travaillé comme professeur assistant à l'Université de Bahir Dar, en Éthiopie, ainsi qu'au Centre d'études économiques et sociales (CESS), à Hyderabad. Il est titulaire d'un doctorat en éducation et de diplômes d'études supérieures en sociologie et en éducation des adultes et formation continue.
