The inclusion of students with disabilities is a complex reality that involves not only theoretical but also practical issues. The fields of ethics, pedagogy and sociology, among other sciences, update here their great questions: Can everyone be educated in everything? What is the purpose of school? Should we talk about disability, special educational needs or neurodiversity? The reality of school management also raises questions: What does the right to inclusive education consist in? Is it mandatory for all schools? How is education organized in Argentina and in the Province of Buenos Aires? This book addresses these questions and goes beyond them: it offers an updated diagnosis of school reality in Argentina's largest educational district. It examines the perception of the levels of school inclusion according to different dimensions (cultures, practices and policies), detects the main points and sources of resistance, obstacles and tensions at the time of the implementation of inclusion, and proposes, based on them, specific ideas for the design of public policies.
