Autorenporträt
Avinash Kumar Singh is currently Professor and Head at the Department of Educational Policy, National University of Educational Planning and Administration, New Delhi. He previously served as Associate Professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He has been a Government of India National Scholar for Study Abroad awardee and received his PhD (Education) from the University of London and Master of Studies (Social Anthropology) from the University of Oxford. He has consulted for the European Commission, Save the Children (UK) and other international organisations. He specialises in education of the disadvantaged, decentralised educational management, tribal education, policy analysis and programme evaluation.
