Education and Teacher Training in Cuba is the result of the research that from 2020 to 2022 has been developed by the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the University of Pedagogical Sciences ¨Enrique José Varona¨ of Havana. Cuba. It includes the systematization of the thought on education and pedagogy developed since the colonial periods, the Military Occupation and the first decades of the 20th century. From this framework, it works on the teacher training category and the peculiarities it assumes in each of the mentioned periods. It links in this process to the Teacher Training Colleges that emerged in the 19th century and extended throughout the 20th century with the closing of its first half approximately.
