Educational privatization policies have become a global event. In Latin America since the 80's and 90's the idea of private is better has permeated the idea of; Policies such as the managerial reform of the state, the modernization of the state or the new public management have promoted a conservative attempt at educational privatization. Recently, educational reforms have been implemented that subtly and almost imperceptibly support endogenous and exogenous privatization policies inspired by this managerial reform of the state and the new public management for Latin America, focused on school autonomy, accountability, with special emphasis on the professionalization of school management.
