Citizenship, Democracy and Human Rights - Is it possible for public higher education to contribute to the formation of citizenship, democracy and human rights? The focus of our work was to carry out a study on citizenship, democracy and human rights developed within the students of the UON's Isced-Cabinda, since there is a fragility of the democratic regime and citizenship. For these rights to be promoted, education, as an instrument of formation and transformation, plays a leading role as a social institution that works with the socialisation of knowledge, the formation of habits, values and attitudes. The aim of this study is to analyse the role of teachers in promoting education for citizenship, democracy and human rights in students, as well as to investigate the position of teachers in their work practice in the development of actions aimed at promoting and building democratic citizenship under the law in students; to diagnose the current state of the development process andof citizenship and democracy in teachers in the training of students.
